Wine Deliveries within the New York City area
Thank you for shopping at PJ Wine. We're committed to bringing you an efficient and reliable delivery service. Therefore, in order to bring you the best service we can, we have (as of May 2015) made changes to our delivery services. Please see details below.
$170 (before taxes) delivered for free by PJ Wine on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
(Note: Orders under $170 will be charged a $15 delivery fee)
- Brooklyn & Queens:
$170 (before taxes) delivered for free by PJ Wine on Saturdays.
(Note: Orders under $170 will be charged a $15 delivery fee)
- Bronx, Westchester County, and Long Island:
$250 (before taxes) shipped FREE by UPS.
(Note: Cases under $250 (before taxes) will be charged per UPS daily rate, call PJ Wine at 1-212-567-5500 (ext. 2) for more details)
Multiple case orders:
- On orders for over 2 cases, there will be a $5 per case charge applied. Orders with 5 or more cases will be charged a flat rate of $20 for Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.
- Any order above $1,000 will receive FREE delivery in Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens regardless of case quantity.

Pro-Pak: Ice Pack (2 Ice Packs) $3.50
- We ship wine all year long, but weather can potentially affect the quality of your wine, especially if it will be in transit for more than one day.
- As a service for our customers we offer Pro-Pak ice packs to keep your wine as close to cellar temperature as possible during the summer months.
- Please inquire when calling, or drop a note in the "comments" box if ordering online.
We will work to have all orders processed within 72 hours (3 business days). We appreciate your understanding if the order hasn't arrived after 72 hours during a busy time (major holidays, promotions and sales). Sorry, no next day deliveries.
Pickup - In Store Only
This is for orders to be picked up by the customer at the store. All pickup requests must be placed 48 hour in advance. All purchases made in our NY store are subject to sales tax.
If you make an order and can't receive or pick up the wine due to traveling or otherwise, we will grant three months of free storage and holding. After three months, we will charge $5 per case per month stored.
Shipments within the US
PJ's does not ship to the following states due to legal restrictions: AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, NH,
KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, NC, ND, NH, NJ, RI, PA, TN, TX, UT and VA.
- PJ's does not deliver or ship spirits.
- Shipping costs include insurance which assures us that your wine will be shipped in a safe and timely manner.
- PJ's only ships to individuals over 21 years of age.
- UPS Ground is our standard shipping method. Please call for current UPS pricing.
Overnight and Magnum Bottles Order
Please call 212-567-5500 (ext. 3) or email firstname.lastname@example.org for shipping rates that are not automatically calculated in our checkout system, such as magnum sized (1.5L or higher) bottles, overnight shipping, and international shipping orders.
Shipping Terms / Fine Print
Title on all Wine passes to the buyer at the time of purchase in the state of New York. If you require that your wine be shipped, you authorize PJ Wine Inc. to engage a common carrier to deliver the wine on your behalf. IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHIP YOUR WINE TO A NON-RECIPROCAL STATE, YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLYING WITH YOUR STATE'S LAWS REGARDING ALCOHOL SHIPMENTS.
Again, you must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from PJ Wine Inc.. Any shipments containing alcoholic beverages are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" sticker, and the common carrier that delivers our merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery. This means that you will have to be present at the time of delivery.
Because we have no control over the temperature conditions at any 3rd party carriers' warehouses, we always attempt to deliver wines to our 3rd party carrier at the beginning of each week so that you can receive your wine before the weekend. As a result, your wine may not be delivered to our 3rd party carrier the day that you place your order. Please understand that during business hours, your orders are immediately packaged and scheduled for delivery, but may be delayed until ideal conditions for shipment arise.
Some of our wines are sold on a "futures" basis. These products are explicitly indicated as "futures" on our Web site, email newsletter and catalog, along with the expected (but not guaranteed) arrival dates. PJ Wine Inc. will notify you by phone or email when your "futures" have arrived and are ready to be shipped. You will be given the opportunity to coordinate the proper delivery or shipping address and method (we don't automatically ship out wines when they arrive without contacting you first).
Your are reminded that various states impose limitations on the quantity of alcoholic beverages which may be purchased and brought into their jurisdiction without requiring the purchaser, the seller or the shipper to possess certain licenses or permits. PJ Wine Inc., does NOT, as a condition of sale, assume any obligation nor bear any responsibility whatsoever for applying for or obtaining any such permits or licenses. Therefore, you are strongly advised to investigate such limitations and to determine the manner in which alcoholic beverages may lawfully be brought into states other than New York. Your are responsible for all applicable excise, use and sales taxes due to your state related to the purchase of any taxable goods.
PJ Wine Inc. makes no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of New York. The Buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wines and is responsible for any loss or damage to goods once they have left our premises. By placing an order, you authorize PJ Wine Inc. to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you.
