Join PJ Wine on Monday, March 8, 2004 at the Mark Hotel and meet Clive Coates, Master of Wine and Burgundy expert extraordinaire, as he leads us in a dinner celebration of Burgundy. With his unique access to each clos and domaine, and to individual négociants and vignerons, Coates may know more about the Côte D'Or and its wines than any other living writer.
The event will consist of a reception with Clive, followed by a 4-course pairing menu developed by the master chefs at the Mark Hotel. Under Clives guidance we have selected two wines per course from the 2002 White Burgundy (" an outstanding vintage") and 2001 Red Burgundy ("unexpectedly good") vintages.
