Considered by many to be the foremost expert on French wine, Coates has recently published a new book, The Wines of Bordeaux.This authoritative guide to one of the most important wine regions in the world reflects his encyclopedic knowledge of Bordeaux. His love and respect for French wines is apparent as he imparts detailed information on the best vintages, tasting notes of the top wines, and up-to-the-minute advice for selecting best value wines.

Coates boasts 35 years of traveling in France’s top wine-growing regions, and will share his expertise with guests as he leads them through an unforgettable tasting and pairing dinner at Eleven Madison Park. Guests are invited to purchase a personally autographed copy of The Wines of Bordeaux through PJ Wine following the dinner on March 9. Proceeds from the event will benefit City Harvest, the preferred charity partner of PJ Wine.

The event will consist of a reception with Clive Coates, followed by a luxurious pairing menu developed by Chef Kerry Heffernan of Eleven Madison Park. Afterward Clive will sign copies of The Wines of Bordeaux.

Each week, City Harvest helps some 200,000 hungry New Yorkers find their next meal.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received by the end of business hours, March 5. There is a $20.00 fee per reservation to process refunds. Registrants who do not cancel by March 5 or do not attend are liable for the entire reservation fee. Substitute registrants will be accepted.
