Over the years PJ’s has built a nationally recognized reputation for its extensive Spanish wine selection. Named one of the best retailers in the country for Spanish wines by The Rosengarten Report the PJ Wine team tastes hundreds and hundreds of Spanish wines every year, and has accumulated years of tasting, travel, and commitment to uncover and bring home the very best of Spain. The wines at the Spanish Wine Festival are complemented by Spanish cheeses, as well as Jamón, tapas and other cuisine celebrating Spain’s rich culinary tradition. Spanish music and dance will round out the authentic Spanish evening. Additional Sponsors include: Wines from Spain/Trade Commission of Spain-New York, Cheese from Spain and Redondo Iglesias, a top purveyor of Jamón Serrano. Tasting highlights include Vega Sicilia Unico, Pingus, Aalto PS, Mauro Vendimia Seleccionada, Muga Gran Reserva, Remirez de Ganuza, López de Heredia Viña Bosconia, Artadi Pagos Viejos, Alvaro Palacios L’Ermita, Numanthia and Termanthia as well as a selection of great sherries. Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received by the end of business hours, June 20. There is a $10.00 fee per reservation to process refunds. Registrants who do not cancel by June 20 or do not attend are liable for the entire reservation fee. Substitute registrants will be accepted.

On Thursday, June 23, PJ Wine sponsors "Spanish Wine Festival 2005 To Benefit City Harvest" in New York City. Don't miss out on the opportunity to celebrate and taste over 150 of the top Spanish selections from every major wine region of Spain, including such classics as Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat and Sherry and hot emerging regions like Toro, Bierzo, Jumilla and more.
Where: The tasting will take place at the dramatic and richly historical setting of "Landmark on the Park," a Universalist Church built in 1897, located at 160 Central Park West across from Central Park at West 76th Street.
City Harvest
PJ Wine is very proud to support City Harvest, whose efforts are a profound service to New Yorkers. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit City Harvest. City Harvest exists to end hunger in communities throughout NYC. They do this through food rescue and distribution, education and other practical, innovative solutions.
