The wines at the Spanish Wine Festival will be complemented by Spanish cheese, as well as Jamón, mouthwatering tapas and other cuisine celebrating Spain’s rich culinary tradition. Spanish music will round out this authentic and festive taste of Spain. Tasting highlights will include Wine Advocate 100 point sensations 2004 Numanthia-Termes “Termanthia” and 2004 Benjamín Romeo Rioja “Contador;” top Ribera del Dueros Vega Sicilia “Unico” and Pesquera “Janus;” Priorat greats Mas Martinet “Clos Martinet,” Mas Doix “Doix” and upstart Mas Romani “La Creu Alta;” Jumilla stunners from El Nido, “Clio” and “El Nido;” and Rioja traditional and modern masters R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva, 1964 Riojanas Gran Reserva “Monte Real” and Artadi “Pagos Viejos” as well as a selection of top-flight and rare Sherries, including Hidalgo Palo Cortado VORS “Viejo.”

City Harvest
PJ Wine is very proud to support City Harvest, whose efforts are a profound service to New Yorkers. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit City Harvest.

Founded in 1982, City Harvest is the world’s first food rescue organization, dedicated to feeding New York City's hungry men, women and children. This year, City Harvest will collect 20 million pounds of excess food from all segments of the food industry, including restaurants, grocers, corporate cafeterias, manufacturers and farms. This food is then delivered free of charge to more than 600 community food programs throughout New York City using a fleet of 15 trucks and volunteers on foot. Each week, City Harvest helps over 260,000 hungry New Yorkers find their next meal.
