Joseph Phelps

Founded in 1972, Joseph Phelps is one of California's premier wineries. In 1974 Phelps was the first U.S. winery to produce a Bordeaux style blend (meritage), under a proprietary label. This wine became the highly acclaimed Phelps "Insignia" line. Year to year, Phelp's Insignia has garnered raves from wine critics around the world, beating many highly allocated and rare "cult cabs" in blind tastings. In addition to the Insignia line, Phelps produces a Napa cabernet, rhone varietals and dessert wines which we consider to be among the finest values in California wine today.
