Unfortunately, too few quality, dry German Rieslings make their way to the tables of America’s dry white wine drinkers. For those who are not familiar with dry German wines we are confident this Riesling will make you see them in a very attractive, thirst-quenching light. Not only is it ideal for everyday drinking, but it also comes in a bargain-priced one liter size.

The ’04 Hans Lang Trocken Riesling offers up a lovely ginger and apple nose. It is dramatic, crisp and refreshing, with ample racy acidity, perfectly integrated citrus tones, and a bone-dry finish. It is excellent as an apéritif or to take along on your next picnic. Serve it with your favorite spicy fish dish or with cold chicken salads. It also pairs nicely with light seafood pasta dishes.
