The oenologist Luciano Amoedo, a founding member of the Martin Códax cooperative, utilizes modern production methods and combines them with centuries-old winemaking techniques to maximize the yield of each harvest and to bring out the fruit forward quality that is characteristic of wines from this region’s unique terroir. This ripe Albariño offers citrus and white peach aromas and mineral notes of limestone and pulverized granite with subtle hints of wildflower and honeyed sweetness. The palate shows soft citrus and lovely round melon tones set off by crisp minerality. Impressive depth and a lively line of integrated acidity complete this affordable white.
