Come celebrate and savor the flavor of España at PJ Wine’s Ninth Annual Spanish Wine Festival on June 17th at the Metropolitan Pavilion — a cork-popping, tapas-nibbling night of Iberian extravagance that you won’t soon forget.
PJ Wine has been lauded by the Rosengarten Report as one of the top retailers in the country for our extensive collection of wines from Spain—so who better to guide you through a tasting of over 150 top Spanish wines? We’ll be pouring outstanding producers like Rioja royalty La Rioja Alta and La Nieta, rock-stars from Ribera del Duero like Vega Sicilia, Priorat great Clos Mogador, Jumilla knockout El Nido, and some surprise sherry stunners, too—and we’re just getting warmed up.
You’ll salivate over servings of perfecto food-pairings from NYC’s hottest Spanish-centric spots like pintxos purveying Basque beauty Txikito, tempting tapas from Boqueria, jamon-wielding, paella-producing traditionalists La Rioja, croquetta craftsman Alcalá and delicious & unique cheeses from Artisanal Premium Cheese. And while you’re sipping and sampling the night away, you get to feel a little good about yourself, too -- $10 from each ticket sold will support Action Against Hunger | ACF USA (up to a maximum of $2,000). Action Against Hunger, an international humanitarian organization, saves the lives of malnourished children by providing families with sustainable access to safe water and long-term solutions to hunger. Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be made if notice of cancellation is received by noon, June 16, 2011. There is a $15.00 cancellation fee per reservation to process refunds. Registrants who do not cancel by June 16 or do not attend are liable for the entire reservation fee. Substitute registrants will be accepted.
