Luigi Maffini "Kratos" IGT "Paestum" Fiano White 2009 (750ML)

Full and fresh, this southern Italian sipper is a good argument for the notion that IGT wines are not to be ignored. As gold as the southern Italian sun, we get notes of Seckel pears, crisp, sweet apples, and a little bit of herb and flint on the finish. We love to drink this alongside crispy crab cakes, while its great acidity also means it can hang tough with white lasagna made with a nutmeg-spiked bechamel.--PJ
