Vina Aquitania "Sol de Sol" Traiguen Chardonnay 2007 (750ML)

No butter, no oak-just crisp, bright Chard breaks through in this zesty little number from Chile. The nose shows some nice green apple dipped in honey, followed by a charge of brilliant acidity and a long, yet squeaky clean finish that sets you up for food pairings such as ceviche, grilled trout, or a plump avocado salad. This drinks more like a Chablis or a Meursault than a Napa. We love Chile for their great wines at prices that allow for some guilt-free splurging, since we always feel like we are getting a lot of wine out of our green. - PJ
