This old-vine Tempranillo comes from up-and-coming La Mancha, where the Mediterranean climate coaxes out lots of spice, licorice, rich black cherry, and an undercurrent of minerality from the limestones soils where these vines dig deep into the soil. Lamb chops are a must! -- PJ
