de Ladoucette Pouilly Fume 2009(750ML)Oh, the flinty-flinty taste of a good Pouilly Fume on the tongue. It's what gives this Loire-centric version of Sauvignon Blanc its own particular jaunty tip of the cap, as it were. And here n this version from the aristocratic lands lauded over by producer de Ladoucette, it's there in spades, along with some really lovely and juxtaposing influences of tropical fruit, white flowers, grapefruit, and fresh herbs.
