It's like somebody dipped a lightbulb into melted cherry Lifesavers-it literally glows. This vibrancy is no false bill of goods, and the second the aroma hits your nostrils you will have your second holy sh*t moment. This is one of the purest, brightest, most enticing Jura reds we have ever had the luck to stick our snouts in. And yes, on the palate it all comes together. Fruit, rocks, minerals, acid…it's just so alive and enticing. This is 100% pure, no hands attached, winemaking. Just grapes, ambient yeasts, and neutral oak. The land is extracted in liquid form. Easily the best vintage Domaine L'Octivin have vinified, and one of our favorite "natural wines" this year. Bring this down to cellar temp (a few minutes in the fridge should do) and let the food pairing infinity begin. A red for fish? Most def. Cheese? Bring it. Charcuterie? Oh, it's on. Seriously, you might want to hide this from the guests. After all this is Jura, not Bordeaux, so production is limited.
