That is why we are in love with this bright, crunchy, mountain red from a man whose modest home includes a cheese room! How could you not want to drink a wine made by a man with a cheese room? Well maybe some of these other factoids will help: It's Mondeuse-a rare red varietal native to the Savoie (more known for ski resorts than grapes), there is no added sulfur in the vineyard or bottling (Yves keeps a meticulous cellar; don't worry it's far from the cheese room), and it's over-the-top good. For fans of lighter reds, spicy reds, mineraly reds…reds with character, reds for food, reds for fun…then you need to get in bed with Yves.
