Ah, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo! You exotic, rich, silken sexy sipper, you! Why do so few know of your alluring, amiable charms (reasonable price being just one)? Well, we know-and this hand-harvested, partially oak-aged version has a lot of charm to spare. We love all the fresh apple, bright citrus, and spice here, which kind of begs to popped on one of those rare quiet holiday-season-at-home nights alongside a little turkey meatloaf (hey, don't knock it until you've had a really good one!) or take-out fried pork dumplings. -- PJ
